Terms & Conditions Questions

There is no suspension periods for PHIIT Club memberships. This has already been factored into the weekly price to keep the overall cost to members as low as possible.

A member can cancel their membership at any time. There is no cancellation fee, however all cancellation requests must be sent to admin@phiitclub.com.au. We require no less than 3 weeks written notice.
During the notice period, members can still train.

We encourage members to give us notice of any injuries so that we can provide modified exercises to work around your injury during your next session.
We are fully equipped to supply modified and rehabilitation sessions for individuals that have suffered injuries. Due to this, we don’t offer suspensions due to injury. Instead, we encourage you to continue training within the limits of your medical professionals’ guidelines.

If you’re sick or test positive for COVID, make sure not to come to training. Suspensions are not available in these instances. And we offer a low weekly price that has already factored these events into the cost.
Members also have ample time when they’re well again to take full advantage of the training times and days, as well as group fitness options to get more out of your training if you need.

If we enter another COVID lockdown, we will place all members on a pause. This will mean from that time no membership will be charged.
When the lockdown ends, we will remove the pause from all memberships. This will charge each person pro rata. This means, if we remove the pause on Monday, and you pay on Thursday, you will be charged for those 4 days on your next payment day.

Pro Rata means that a charge will be made that only includes the time the membership was active between payment periods.
For instance, a membership is suspended for 2 weeks and the pause is removed on a Wednesday. This means that the member will be charged 1 day’s amount for that week (rather than a full week’s amount).

Yes. There is a one-time $55 joining that covers set-up costs such as your compendium and door access swiper pass.

There are two ways to upgrade your membership
1) Send an email to admin@phiitclub.com.au with your request
2) Head to the Gym Master app and upgrade it yourself in the Membership area. Here’s a video if you’d like to see how this is done

Please visit our CONTACT US PAGE for our manned and unmanned hours.

You can train as many times as you like, however we do strongly advise members to follow the guidance from the trainers and follow the weekly plan that is provided every 3 weeks. Overtraining is short lived and can lead to fatigue and potential injury.

PHIIT Club does have group exercise programs. We offer Ultimate S&C and out PHIITness program. Members and Non-Members can access these classes for $22/per session. We also offer an add-on where members can access these sessions for $11/week with unlimited sessions available.

The Membership add-on is only available to current members who specifically ask a trainer for it. This will then allow you to access as many Ultimate S&C and PHIITness group classes each week as you’d like.

When there are no trainer-led group sessions scheduled in the conditioning room, members can come and go as they please.

Heavy Haulers is a separate exercise program, with a separate membership.
We have made a membership that includes PHIIT Club and Haulers called The Combo. You can get more information about there here.

If a member is a No-Show their account will be charged a $10 penalty fee.

Training System Questions

No. All Exercises are body friendly and each workout is self-paced and self-progressed with the guidance and support from our team. You can work within your own abilities with minimal risk of injury. You don’t need to be fit, strong or coordinated to train at PHIIT Club. You train at PHIIT Club to get fit, strong and coordinated!

The beauty of PHIIT Club is that you don’t have to think about what to do each session, you just need to follow a proven system of programming that works and that has been designed based on our versatile modular equipment. If you wish to follow your own program and not the PHIIT System you are welcome to do so during OFF PEAK times or when there is 10 people or less training in the club, however if you have no desire to use the highly beneficial PHIIT System then a regular gym may suit you better.

There is room on your scoresheet to adjust the exercises in the event you have a restriction and need a Modification, however we would strongly advise members to follow the system exactly as designed in order to get the greatest overall long term benefits. Following the system as designed allows for plateau prevention & exercise continuity and will ensure ongoing engagement and results! In the event you do need a modification, we urge you to chat to your trainer during manned hours for best advice on how to change it.

Guided workouts last approx. 40 minutes from start to finish however the actual timing system in each session goes for 30-35 minutes (depending on the intervals on each training day).

In short, you’d be crazy not to as the scoresheet is the key component of the PHIIT System and provides you with purpose to your session, feedback, accountability, allows you to set targets and validates your personal progression. Keeping a scoresheet whilst exercising may be foreign and may take a couple of sessions to get used to, however it is an essential training tool. The team will help you understand how to fill it in and make the most of it.

New program cycles commence every 3 weeks and this is when the exercises for each of our program types change (S&C, HIIT Pad, Bike erg & Ski erg). In week 3 of every program the upcoming guided workouts get released and new scoresheets are made available. The exercise refresher screens in the club will be changed on Day 1 of each new 3 week cycle. Please check the CONTACT US page for all the key start dates.

In the event that you become a member mid 3 week cycle you will complete the current 3 week cycle and then start the new exercises when the next 3 week program commences.

We have a strict “No Towel, No Train” policy.
If you forget a towel, you can purchase one on the day for $10. This will be automatically debited from your account.

Replacement compendiums can be purchased for $20. This will be automatically debited from your account.

PHIIT Club does NOT have shower facilities, however there are toilets located within the shopping centre, approx. 1 minute walk.

We do have storage tubs for you to leave your belongings, however we strongly advise you leave bags and personal belongings at home or in your car. There is a space at each station for you to place phones and scoresheet clip folders.

There is no specific warmup or stretch area and during peak / busy times if you wish to stretch you’ll need to do it outside at the front of the club. We do always recommend a specific warm-up prior to the commencement of any workout and this involves doing 1-2 sets of each exercise with a lighter load before pressing play on your guided workout time.

Every meter and rep achieved during your session will be added to your personal Awards Tally. Once a member passes an Awards Milestone, they receive recognition of their hard work. An Award will be presented at training.

Yes. When you enrol into a Heavy Haulers group exercise session, you are enrolling into the longest running group training program (est 2007). This has lasted the test of time and members have gained the results they have because of the training system.

No. As Haulers is a group training program, everyone is doing the same exercises during the session. The only time this is not the case is when members are injured and are unable to complete a certain exercise. If this is the case, talk to your training and they will give you a modified session.
